Flowering Bougainvillea - Bonsai Tree
Bougainvillea are customer favorites are they're highly sought-after evergreen tropical vine that produces a dynamic spectrum of blooms ranging from pinks, oranges, whites and purples. The colorful, papery "blooms" of the Bougainvillea are not actually flowers, but rather “bracts”. The true flower is white, trumpet shaped and almost unnoticeable within the bracts. Bougainvillea flower most heavily in winter and early spring.
- Likes high temperatures, humidity and lots of sunlight.
- It can be kept indoors as long as it gets plenty of bright sun and outdoors as long as it’s protected from freezing temperatures.
- Bougainvillea are also very tolerant to dryer conditions, so over-watering is probably more of a concern than under-watering.
Important: Bougainvillea will likely lose their flowers during the shipping process. They grow back, but you'll need to greenhouse them for a few weeks.
